There are total 46 sites of "Important Bird Area" in Sichuan Provice alone including Sershul, Zoige, Jiuzhaigou, Emei, Balangshan, Erlangshan, Mengbishan, Wawushan, Muli, etc. Awareness of bird protection has been rising through years.
