Everything you need to know before booking your Mt. Siguniang adventure
The good seasons for Mt. Siguniang is from April to November. For golden foliage color one may consider mid-late October. For green mountain with flowers and warm weather one may consider in June, July and August. For trekking such as to Dafeng one consider doing from late May to November. It's hard to plan for good weather. It's all about probabilities in different seasons. Seasons with highest chance of good visibility is October, November, December, January, February, while the second highest chance of clear weather is in April, May, early-mid Jun, mid-late August, September. Note you will also need to consider temperature, crowds as well as your own objective and your own styles while planning. For example if you want to see mountains in clear weather and okay with cold weather then winter is the best time; or if you want to see mountains with green color and with flowers in a sunny day, then you may plan summer season with longer stay.
Avoid the Chinese holidays (1st week of May, 1st week of Oct) if possible. Avoid weekends if possible. Read More...
