Bipenggou is a very popular tourist attraction in Sichuan thta is suited for traveling all year round. It is a national park in Qionglai Mountain Range integrating original ecological landscape trips, mountaineering, leisure ski as well as leisure sight-seeing. It is famous for its beautiful natural ecological landscape and excellent ecological environment. There are many wild forests, rhododendrons, primitive forest, high altitude peaks, waterfalls. Bipenggou is located by the north of Changping and Shuangqiao Valley of Mount Siguniang (Four Girls Mountain).
The area where Bipenggou is located is called scenic spot of Miyaluo, a place in general famous for its autumn scenery. In the autumn season, this region ibecomes a colorful world full of infinite forests and mountains. Every year, the maple, birch, goose pine, larch, etc. along the sides of the autumn season are gradually frosted, and the leaves are dyed by nature into brilliant red and golden yellow.Therefore, many domestic tourists will flock to this regioin to appreciate its autumn beauty. Bipenggou's beauty is not only limited to its autumn colors. In other seasons such as May to September the mountain becomes green and flowers bloom.
In addition, it is very close to Chengdu with convenient transportation. The catering and accommodation services are well developed. It takes only about 2~3 days for a tour to Bipenggou from Chengdu.
The nearby Taoping Qiang Village is also worth a visit while traveling to Bipenggou.

The best time to visit Bipenggou is from May to November. Autumn (Sept, Oct, Nov) is considered the best time to visit Bipenggou due to its golden color yet other seasons are also beautiful. more about Bipenggou Weather
1. The weather changes quickly in Bipenggou due to its high elevation, and the temperature difference between morning and evening is large. Recommended to bring down jackets or windbreakers, warm clothes such as scarves and gloves, rain gear. Sun protection is necessary.
2. In spring and autumn season some parts of the trails and boardwalks may be covered in snow or ice. it is still walkable but may require strong walking boots that have grips.
3. The altitude in the scenic area is between 3500m and 3800m. You are recommended to take it slow while visiting Bipenggou.
4. There are food stalls providing simple food and snacks but with limted options. You are recommended to bring lunch for yourself.
5. This park is not super large. Basically, it is ideal for 1 day of sightseeing, and there are sightseeing buses and electric cars in the park, so it is very friendly for the elderly people and children.
