This trip is 14 days to maximize your chance of seeing a panda in the wild. Usually it is not easy to see a panda in the wild because they are usually shy and the bamboos are too thick and terrains too difficult to access to the actual panda homeland. This trip brings you the opportunity to see wild panda in the wild environment. It is an experience few people have.
Book NowDrive there on day one and go into the mountain directly. The drive takes about 2 hours and there are local transfers involved. The hike takes from 3 hours to 4 hours single way to the camp. From day 2 to day five 13 we go to explore different valleys and gorges in the panda sanctuary in Wolong. We will move camp to maximize the chance of seeing pandas in the wild. Please do prepare strong walking shoes, walking poles, waterproof jackets and pants, hats and insect sprays, and extra of all these gears because this sanctuary is usually wet and not easy terrain to walk on. During the search we need to pack light and have one-day's supply of water and food. You'll be guided by your guide while going out every day. On day 14 you will be transferred back to Chengdu unless you want to extend your trip.
