This is a 4-day tour to Tangjiahe Nature Reserve. Tangjiahe Nature Reserve is one of the best places in China to watch wild animals in the actual wild. Tangjiahe Nature Reserve is home to many wild animals including the famous takins, golden snub-nosed monkeys, muntjac, Chinese goral, ,Marten, Black Bear, otters, etc. The best seasons to watch the wild animals is winter and spring time.
Book NowThis is a wildlife watching tour. It involves early start and late finish with rests in between but in different seasons the watching time will be slightly different. You may or may not see certain species in Tangjiahe Nature Reserve. You are recommended to prepare your own watching gears such as binoculars, scopes, scans, cameras, torches, etc. Certain wildilfe has higher chance of being spotted in certain seasons.
Today we will drive to Tangjiage. With now good road it takes only half day to arrive at Tangjiahe from Chengdu. After arrive Tangjiahe, check in the park and then go into the reserve and use hotel inside the reserve of Tangjiahe. Check in hotel by around 2-3pm and prepare for late afternoon/evening watch.

After morning search in Tangjiahe, cehck out hotel and drive back to Chengdu. En route we will have lunch by Qingxi Old Town. Tour ends by dropping your off in Chengdu city.
1. This is a private tour package; you can choose your own time to come. The best season to do this tour is from November to the next April/May. August and September are good for Takins and black bears, November to the next March(winter time) are good for golden-snub nose monkeys and most of the other animals. April and May is the mating seasons for most animals when they are active. In general we recommend winter time between November and March being the best time to come to search and watch the animals in Tangjiahe due to higher chances of seeing them especially for golden snub-noe monkeys.
2, We offer flexible arrangement on services of this tour. You may choose to use only some of all of our services for example, a private transfer is essential for your watching inside Tangjiahe because it's too long to walk and there are no other alternatives to having your own car while watching by early morning and late evening. Staying inside the park of Tangjiahe is also a must because the park closes its entrance between 6pm to the next 8am.
3, Night watch is not recommended by the park but many people still do and it's possible to do especially when you stay inside the park.
