This is a 2-week trip dedicated for sighting of Snow Leopard in China. You will be fully guided and have multiple chance of seeping snow leopard by multiple locations with maximized chances. This trip goes to highland of Tibetan area into the heartland nature reserves. You will also have chance of sighting on other wildlife including Pallas Cat, Tibetan Antelope, Gazelle, White-lipped Deer, Lynx, Qiang, Tibetan Fox, Himalayan Wolf, Brown Bear, various raptors.
Book NowArrive Yushul usually by midday and then you will be greeted by your guide at the airport. If time allows we will go to the nearby places for sighting of pika, alpine musk deer before check in hotel. You will be briefed by your guide on the trip plan and make sufficient preparations and necessary shopping in Yushul since it is the largest town in this trip.
From this day on we usually use a fixed plan but in different seasons the actual plan is different due to accessibility and restrictions. A day-by-day plan will be sent to you after you sign up. Note the plan may change even after you sign up, the changes will include the change of sequences of a tour, starting and ending time of each day, overnight places. All changes will be made out of the reasons for better chance of sighting, weather conditions, safety concerns.
Each day we will start early by around 6-7am to have some of the best timing of each day for wildlife sighting. During daytime (usually midday) by some days not all days we will have time resting and save energy for late afternoon sighting. You will have the flexibility to rest for some mornings/afternoons if you want to. We will usually have more than one vehicles for trip that can accommodate travelers of different interests and requirements of what to do for the day although we suggest and tend to stay together the whole time during the trip. Night tour is available by some locations.
During these days of sighting and driving, we will have chances of spotting Pallas Cat, Tibetan Antelope, Gazelle, White-lipped Deer, Lynx, Qiang, Tibetan Fox, Himalayan Wolf, Brown Bear, various raptors, etc. All travelers are encouraged to make full use of your gears such as binoculars, scopes to do scanning and searching to maximize chance of seeing more wildlife and to make this trip worthwhile to the most.

Our local guides are not famous wildlife photographers nor zoologists, wildlife biologists or ornithologists but just rather local wildlife guides that work locally in Sichuan/China with 2-5 years of experiences working for international wildlife travelers.

1, Early Booking Price is applied to anyone who books the tour 6 months prior to departure date.
2, Latest signing up date is 2 months prior to trip starting date. A deposit of USD880 is needed to secure your spot.
3, Maximum group size is 9 people. Minimum group size is 2 people. If there are less than 2 people joining the tour (2 months prior to trip), it will either be canceled & refunded or a supplement is paid to make a confirmed tour. Supplement amount is up to 100% of tour cost.
