This tour is featured with watching Golden Snub-nose Monkeys. You will have chance to see the golden monkeys in Pingwu/Jiuzhaigou and watch them closely and then move on to Tangjiahe Nature Reserve to search them in the wild. You will also have chance to see wild animals such as takins, red pandas, tufted deers, otters, different birds and even pandas etc. The best seasons to watch the wild animals are fall, winter and spring time.

1. This is a private tour package; you can choose your own time to come. The best season to do this tour is from November to the next April/May. This tour is customizable. For golden snub-nose monkeys the best season is from early December and mid-February. Because the monkeys move around search for food in the forest. You are recommended to plan for at least 4-5 days here in winter. The longer time you invest in the higher chance you'll see the snub-nose monkeys. There is no guarantee one will definitely see a golden snub-nose monkey in Tangjiahe. The season is critical, if you are here in the wrong season for example you probably won't see golden monkeys in summer.
2. It involves walking in the reserve for long hours, so preparations of hiking gears(rain gears in summer) are necessary.
3. All gears necessary will be recommended.
4. Traveling to the listed places will expect lower standard services at hotels and restaurants, even if they maybe the best choices. The service level is not as up to what you have in places like Chengdu. The hotel people don't speak English, nor do the people from restaurants. These places are quite far, wild but beautiful. As authenticity comes often with less comfortability. Public Toilet can be really bad. You are always recommended to use your toilet in your hotel while you don't want to use the public toilet or do it in the open wild. You are recommended to have toilet paper with you. Food are with limited options at most of the places. Basically you can find Chinese Food with Sichuan style. On a guided trip you can have them customized into vegetarian or non/less spicy.
