Jiuzhaigou, Mt. Siguniang and Huanglong Park re-Open to Foreigners!

Jiuzhaigou Park, Mt. Siguniang Parks and Huanglong Park, Dagu Glacier Park are open to foreign travelers from late August 2021.

Offcial news from Parks of Jiuzhaigou and Siguniang that after almost a month closure to foreign travelers due to covid from late July, now re-open to foreigners.

Jiuzhaigou is now open to foreigners.

Mt. Siguniang is now open to foreigners.

Requirements on visiting Jiuzhaigou Park, Huanlong Park, Siguniang Parks and Dagu Glacier Park:

• 01. Foreigners who live/work in China and has proof of residence/work.
• 02. Local Tianfu health QR green code.
• 03. A covid test within 72 hours. You may need to do more than one test at different hospitals as you travel if your travel days us more than 2 days.
• 04. Mt. Siguniang has additional requires including foreigners being in China over 6 months, and to go camping will require vaccination proof.
• 05. Tickets are now available to be booked by individuals via Aba Offical Tourist Site (either via their website or via wechat app, interface in Chinese only). We can book tickets for you. The following information are required to make bookings:
• a, full name shown on passport;
• b, passport number;
• c, cellphone number;
• d, park/parks name;
• e, exact visiting date/dates;
• f, bookings are usually made prior to your visiting date to avoid booked-out especially during holidays.

Please note the parks of Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong, Dagu Galcier and Mt. Siguniang are under the same company management, the official information may vary on exact requirements from each park. As travel is usually planned ahead of time and new outbreaks may make local parks to tighten their rules therefore foreigner travelers who have taken vaccination please bring such proof with you as it is always helpful while visiting these places.

A covid test is now mandatory at most of the parks listed above and at the hotels at the above locations.
