Rough Cost on Siguniangshan Dafeng Trekking Tour

The following costing list is based on traveling from and back to Chengdu. The cost of doing a Dafeng summit trek is composed of transfers, food, accommodations, porter, guide and the admission charges.

Cost for public transfer is within CNY200 per ride. Round trip will cost double of this price. The public bus takes you directly to Riling where the base of Siguniang is. Please read more about how to get to Rilong by public bus. To use a private transfer it costs around 1200CNY for a small car that normally takes 1-3people.

Cost on food will differ depending on what you eat. Note a lot of hotels at Siguniang don't provide free breakfast. We recommend a minimum budget of CNY50 a meal is safe as price of food has gone up a lot in recent years.

Cost on hotels is at between CNY300 to CNY500. There are plenty clean hostels you can find in Rilong. Most of them are hostel looking and some are quite clean. During holidays or weekends cost on hotels are usually doubled.

Cost on porter is usually a set price based on number of horses and horsemen you use. Price is between CNY500 to CNY600 per horse per day and CNY600 to CNY800 per horseman per day. Depending on how much stuff you are taking with you there requires different numbers of porters.

For guide it's difficult to find one in Rilong that speaks English. All guides in Rilong speak Chinese. An English-speaking guide you can find from Chengdu and it costs much more. Normally if you find a guide from Chengdu you let your guide arrange everything for you.

A permit is required since 2023. And mandatory porter and local guide are also required since then by the park of Siguniang. These whole services costs around CNY2000 per person.
