This is an extreme trek in highland Sichuan to make summit of a 5000m mountain in a single day, a challenging climb up Dafeng of Siguniang. The total distance is 34km on high altitude terrain from 3200m to 5000m and back to 3200m. Please be aware that this is a very hard trek.
Book NowThis 1-day tour starts and ends by the base of mountain in Rilong. You should arrive Siguniang by yourself and book your own hotels. (We can also arrange tour that starts from Chengdu but it will then add on more days. Please send your inquiry to us for details.)
We strongly recommend you to acclimate yourself to the high altitude before doing this tour with us.
Start in the morning by 4-5am. Walk on steep trail from 3200m for around 3km to around 3600m then we will continue for another 4km before steep ascending for 3km up to around 4000m then another 2km of gradual terrain before steep part for the rest all the way to the summit. We should turn around by 2.30pm regardless of how far we get.
In different seasons we may use different routes to the summit. This tour is available from late May to late September.

This trip is not for everyone. Travelers need to have at last 2 of the following experiences: high altitude travel experience, marathon or ultra-marathon experience, 5000m mountain experience, or other intense mountain travel experience.
This trip is available from late May to late September.
You need to be acclimated before doing this trip. Please be aware of the high altitude and long distance of this speed climb to Dafeng.

This tour involves walking at high altitude at over 3000m, people with cardiac-related conditions, cerebrovascular disease, hypertension, arrhythmia, respiratory diseases, obstructive pulmonary diseases (bronchial asthma, bronchiectasis, emphysema, active tuberculosis, pneumoconiosis), pregnant women and people who have been diagnosed with high altitude pulmonary edema, high altitude cerebral edema, high altitude hypertension, high altitude heart disease, and high altitude polycythemia are not recommended to do this trip.
