Manzhatang Grassland is also called Manzhatang Wetland. Manzhatang Grassland is a vast area of wetland and rolling mountains of grassland. Manzhatang is located northwest of Aba County, 460km north to Chengdu. Manzhatang Grassland connects the grassland in Honhyuan and Zoige, forming one of the biggest wetland in China and also one of the biggest grassland in Sichuan Province. Average altitude of Manzhatang is 3400m. Manzhatang is also the origin of Yellow River. In Summer there are millions of yaks living on the grassland, flowers blooming, making it a very good travel destination in northwest Sichuan. Manzhatang is home to many protected wild animals including 117 different species.
