5025m Zodala Summit Trek

(Please note this trip is unique of its kind that no other company provides. We offer you the chance to reach 5000m with minimum physical challenge by finding the simpler access place and also with great views. This 5025m summit is not a prominent peak but rather a high point summit on the ridge (as of many other alternative peaks to Siguniang Dafeng that are available). Please be aware of this before you sign up. This is not a technical mountain/summit, it is a hard walk like Dafeng of Siguniang, but this one is rather with easier access and much less walking. Arrive at Ganzi Airport and be picked up and drive high to over 4000m and acclimate walk up to over 4000m. You will be briefed on the summit plan and on safety issues and your gears will be checked by your guide. We will do acclimating walk for around 3-4 hours by above 4000m after you land in Ganzi. Please prepare energy snacks for lunch for yourself.

Feel free to explore the town of Ganzi on your own for the rest of the day. Overnight will be in comfortable and clean hotel with private bathroom. (We don’t use shitty hotels, we arrange comfortable hotels for travelers, and we believe physically challenging climbing/trekking trips don’t necessarily mean basic or poor lodging/food conditions. You will challenge yourself on the day but you won’t suffer for the night.)

Total Walking 6km between 4000m and 4400m. Easy Pace.

Overnight in hotel by 3300m.

Start from hotel by 9am. (We don’t start very early as most of the other summit/climb tours do that often makes such trip stressful and suffering, we can take our time and have enough sleep, eat proper breakfast before we start.) After about 1h drive we get to our starting point at around 4600m and then push to the summit for 2km in about 2-3 hours to reach 5025m on snow mountains and ridges. The ridge part is often windy and needs care while walking and some part requires scrabbling. You will be briefed on what gears, clothing to prepare for today before starting.

The views on the top is amazing we will have sight of all the major mountain massifs in this part of Shaluli Range including Gangga Mountains, Kawalori Mountains, Zhuodala Mountains. After reaching the summit of 5025m we will descend back to the car and drive back to the hotel and relax. We should be able to return latest by around 4pm. We will stay by the same hotel.

Overnight in hotel by 3300m.

Early start and drive to airport to catch your flight back to Chengdu. Tour ends.
