Luoge Liangzi (Luoge Ridge) is a road pass on G317 located near Ganzi County. It serves both as a scenic viewing platform of breathtaking natural beauty and as a historical site carrying significant "red army long march" revolutionary memories. It is also the border between Ganzi county and Luhuo county.
Luoge Road Pass is a prime location for viewing snow-capped mountain ranges, with a particularly outstanding vista of Mount Kawalori (also known as the "God of Wealth Mountain"), with several peaks stands at almost 6000 meters. The other peaks including Zhuodala, Gangga mountains are also visible from the pass.
In 1936, during the Long March, the Red Second and Fourth Front Armies crossed the Luoge Ridge. Despite extreme material shortages and harsh weather conditions, making this site an important witness to the Long March route.
