Shenxianchi Park is also called Fairy Pools Park. It is a tourist park of beautiful turquoise lakes and calcium lakes in a 3-km valley in Minshan Mountain Range near the famous Jiuzhaigou Park. It is a park very similar to the views of Jiuzhaigou only in a smaller size and with usually much less people than that of Jiuzhaigou Park.
Its Tibetan name is called Nen-En Sangtso, meaning the pools where the fairy ladies bathing. The altitude of the park is at around 2400m and it is located 60km west to the park of Jiuzhaigou and driving takes around 2hours on very winding road. Though a small park but you still need to use a tourist bus inside the park to tour the place.
Business Hour: 08:00 - 18:00 (1 Jun - 16 Nov) / 09:00 - 16:00 (17 Nov - 31 May), During 1 Dec - 31 Mar the park will be closed.
Ticket Price:CNY124 (1 Jun - 16 Nov) / CNY74 (17 Nov - 31 May); All foreign visitors (passport-holders) will need to purchase tickets on site using your passport.
