Le Bao and Ai Bao in Korea

Le Bao and Ai Bao, two giant pandas from Dujiangyan Panda Base of China, took flight to Seoul last month, and have started their 15 years abroad living in Korea. According to official news, Le Bao and Ai Bao will make their official public show on April 21 in the newly built Panda House in Samsung Ai Bao Theme Park in Longren City, Korea.

Before their departure to Korea, Le Bao and Ai Bao obtained their Korean Visa issued by Korea Consulate in Chengdu for a 15 years stay in Korea.

Panda World - new home for pandas

Panda World was specially constructed as the home for Le Bao and Ai Bao, designed by top zoo designing agency in Germany. It covers about 7,000 square meters, including 3,300 square meters of buildings. The Zoo is also a modern digital zoo, and has used many high technologies.

Compared to the usual Panda zoos, the Panda World is equipped with high-tech devices to control the temperature, humidity, air quality automatically so that Ai Bao and Le Bao can live in a ideal environment just like their hometown in Dujiangyan. To recreate the similar habitat in China, the Panda World simulated the same layout and ecosystem in Le Bao and Ai Bao’s hometown. Plenty of bamboo were transplanted in the park. Panadas like climbing trees,so there are many maples also planted in the park. Besides, supporting unites, such as natural lawns, artificial waterfalls, swimming pools also have been constructed.
