Xichang Airport was built in 1975. It is located at Xichang in southwestern Sichuan. It is only 14km south to the town of Xichang. There are lots of direct flights to Xichang from Chengdu, Chongqing, Kunming, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. It has scheduled flights throughout the year.
