Cost on transfer, bus, taxi, local transfer

There is a bus available between Chengdu and Danba. To get to Danba by bus from Chengdu, a ticket costs about 120 yuan. The bus departs from Chengdu Chadianzi Bus Station and arrives in Danba Bus Station. To use a shared taxi you may find them available near Chengdu Chadianzi Bus Station. A rough cost of a shared taxi may cost 200 to 400 yuan per person. Local taxis in Danba are running as shared taxis. Normally the pay is between 5 to 20 yuan depending on how far you go within the town of Danba. However if you want to use a taxi to go to one of the Tibetan villages in Danba, it is normally negotiated as a chartered taxi and it will cost you up to 150 yuan. The taxis in Danba are vans, the most common one type of vans in China everywhere.

Cost on accommodations

Basically there are two types of accommodations for travelers. One is the decent 2 to 3 star hotels in the town of Danba where you can find plenty of them. These hotels cost between 200 yuan to 400 yuan per night for a modern and well-facilitated room. These hotels will usually have breakfast included. The other one accommodation type is the Tibetan guesthouses in the Tibetan villages. These rooms are normally with a basic standard but at present the standard has improved a lot. Now these guesthouse rooms are all equipped with attached bathrooms and quite clean. A room if one of the guest houses costs about 100 to 200 yuan per night. Some of them will include a breakfast and a dinner with a different price.

Cost on food

It is not very easy to find a place to eat in the town of Danba. Danba is in a gorged valley and you can see people try to use every piece of land for construction here due to its lack of land. There are some restaurants by the bridge. A meal will cost you around 30-50 yuan per person. If you stay in one of the guesthouses in the villages, it will cost you a similar amount of money for a meal.
